Number of pages: 334I have been really bothered by the absence of any Diné bizaad aka Navajo/Navaho materials on this site (at most, there are a few examples within a dissertation). Ever since reading Paul G. Zolbrod's Dine Bahane' Navajo Creation Story, I have wanted to learn the language.
I wish I could offer an audio course here, since Navajo is tonal and the phonology is notoriously complex, especially in the context of story telling. But I don't have one!cry
Anyway, here is a nice grammar, and I'll keep looking for more books. I did find some ritual materials, but since I heed the warnings of Mercedes Sosa about singing other peoples' holy songs, I'm not sure if I should post them yet.
